The tablet was great for scribbling. Fire up illustrator, grab the brush size I like, and go. I've always wanted a pen that could keep up with the speed (uniball visions are pretty good), but nothing is as fast as the tablet. Of course, you loose a ton as well -- the sound in particular. There is a rhythmic, hypnotic scratching that emanates from a really zoned-in, pen-and-paper scribble session. It's like music.
